26 Degrees Global Markets is excited to announce our paid financial markets internship, Finance FastTrack.
This immersive two day a week, three-month summer internship program will give you valuable financial services industry experience, exposure to the tech behind the trading and what it takes to trade global markets. You will be exposed to industry veterans, up and coming stars, and work with a young, fun and super smart team in our fantastic new office at Sub Base Platypus in North Sydney.

What does the Electronic Trading and Execution team do?
eTX’s central objective is to generate P&L by expertly overseeing market risk, inventory, trading, and price formation & dissemination. This involves meticulous control over liquidity access and financial market engagement.
Employing sophisticated analytics, market acumen, and technical platform management, the eTX team guarantees optimal efficiency in client-to-market interaction through 26 Degrees round the clock.
What does the Technology team do?
At the core of 26 Degrees’ market interactions, the Technology team plays a pivotal role by controlling the business applications and data pipelines. These integral elements provide sophisticated analytics, vigilant risk monitoring, and robust reporting engines, collectively steering data-driven decision-making.
In addition, technology takes on the responsibility of refining day-to-day operations through precise process and system automation. This allows the 26 Degrees team to channel their efforts into perpetual product evolution and advancement.
You will gain exposure to both streams in the first week before specialising for the remainder of the program.

Eligibility
Final year of university (graduating 2025)
If you are in your final year of university (graduating 2025) with an aptitude for mathematics, engineering, and/or technology, we want to hear from you.

No experience is required
We will give you the knowledge, the access and the support you need to make the most of your unique talents.
Two office days a week
Successful candidates will need to be able to work in the office on Tuesdays and Fridays.
